OGV Group hosted this event for the first time last year in Accra, Ghana at the beginning of September 2024 in partnership with the Ghanaian Government, the Petroleum Commission, the Ministry of Energy and the Ghanaian National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and welcomed participation from over 20 different African countries and had over 500 delegates and 75 speakers as well as former President of Ghana – John Kufour and former President of Nigeria – Chief Obasanjo, in attendance.
This year we are hosting the event in Aberdeen, the second largest global energy hub, to showcase the best opportunities in Africa to the UK and European supply chain, as well as providing a platform for partnerships and investment opportunities.
Our corporate partners this year are the African Energy Chamber (AEC), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Energy Industries Council (EIC), the Scottish African Business Association (SABA), the Global Underwater Hub and the AFBE-UK.
