3t Strengthens Middle East Growth with New Appointment

3t has appointed Dany Matta as Business Development Director for the Middle East, reinforcing the company’s commitment to expanding its presence across the region.

Dany brings more than 15 years of engineering, project and commercial experience across the GCC, Africa and CIS markets, with strong expertise in national workforce development.

After earning his master’s degree in engineering from the Lebanese University, he moved to the UAE to join Petrofac, progressing through roles in engineering, project delivery and business development. He most recently led BD activities for Petrofac’s Training Services and E&C divisions, working with IOCs and NOCs on pursuing projects in capability building and localisation initiatives.

Reflecting on his move into the training sector and now into 3t, Dany said, “My move into training really began during the pandemic, when I stepped in to support the Training division and saw first-hand how essential robust competency systems are for the industry.

Joining 3t brings that full circle; this is a company at the forefront of training and simulation, and I’m looking forward to using my experience to help customers build the skilled, safety‑focused workforces they need for the future.”

As 3t expands its footprint across the Middle East, the company is bringing together its simulation, digital learning and practical training expertise to support operators, service companies, and academic institutions across the region to maintain a highly skill workforce to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

In his role, Dany will lead the full sales cycle across all 3t’s service line offerings, staying closely connected to customers throughout the GCC and shaping tailored solutions, strengthening relationships, and identifying new opportunities that meet their needs.
