A new chapter for AOW
For the past nine years, Hyve Group has been the proud custodian of AOW (formerly known as Africa Oil Week). Today, we announce a new chapter for the event and its customer community as we hand over the keys to its new owner, Sankofa Events Limited, led by Paul Sinclair.
Across the global Hyve portfolio, we are proudly led by our purpose of creating game-changing impact for our customers, their businesses and industries. This has been especially true for our AOW network which, for the last thirty years, has played a leading role in shaping Africa’s energy future.
Many of you may know Paul from his days as part of the event’s leadership team – Paul knows the event extremely well, believes concretely in AOW’s purpose, and has an excellent knowledge of the sector. Having spent time speaking with Paul, I also know that he has very exciting plans to expand the brand internationally and invest in its future success.
