Bilfinger, the leading global industrial services provider, has won a series of engineering projects under the universal framework agreement that has been closed with Black Sea Oil & Gas company. It is the first new offshore gas development project in the Black Sea built in over 30 years that managed to extract gas from the Black Sea in Romania.
Bilfinger services are connected with both – the onshore and offshore facilities that are able to produce approximately 10% of Romania’s gas demand today, with a tendency to grow. The framework agreement has been signed for the period 2023-2026.
The engineering expert teams of Bilfinger Eastern Europe and Bilfinger Middle East have completed several projects so far, and there are others that are ongoing. The teams focus mainly on:
