EIC’s Energy Exports Conference Unveils Agenda for 2022

Ministers, senior government officials, and executives from major energy companies are among speakers. Conference is held in Aberdeen on 14 and 15 June.

 

The Energy Industries Council, one of the world’s leading energy associations, has unveiled the agenda of its flagship annual event, Energy Exports Conference (#EEC2022), which is held in on 14 and 15 June in person at the P & J Live conference centre in Aberdeen.

80 speakers, including 10 country delegations, will bring many of the world’s biggest energy projects to Aberdeen, eager to encourage more supply chain businesses to get involved and get exporting. 

On the first day, EIC’s Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Broadley, will interview on stage a leading UK energy visionary, Sir Ian Wood, Chairman of the Energy Transition Zone. You can expect to hear Sir Ian Wood’s latest insights about the future of the energy industry in the North Sea as well as his views on how Scotland is shaping up to become globally recognised for energy transition. 

Our CEO will also interview Michael Matheson, the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Energy and Transport as well as Louise Kingham, BP’s SVP, Europe and Head of Country, UK.

#EEC2022 will be the meeting place for industry executives from around the world, with senior panellists coming from major energy companies and contractors such as Petronas, BP, Mainstream Renewable Power, Aker Solutions, Wood, Bechtel, Siemens Energy, Petrofac, Fluor, Wartsila and many more.

#EEC2022’s strategic partners are Venterra Group and Wood PLC, and our organising partners are Aberdeen City Council, Decom North Sea, Department for International Trade (DIT), Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), Offshore Energies UK (OEUK), Scottish Development International, UK Export Finance.

Renewables
Onshore, Offshore and Floating Offshore Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Geothermal, hydroelectric, Biofuels, Energy from Waste

Hydrogen and Carbon Capture
Blue Hydrogen, Green Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS), and Direct Air Capture.

Nuclear
New build, Small Modular Reactors (SMR), Advanced Modular Reactors (AMR), Operation and Maintenance, Waste Management and Decommissioning.

Energy Opportunities
Electrification, Oil and Gas, Advanced Fuels, Upstream Decommissioning, Emission Reduction, etc.
