Industry body, Subsea UK has issued a final call for entries ahead of its prestigious 2019 business awards.
The awards recognise companies and individuals who are leading the way in Britain’s £9billion subsea sector.
Entries are being sought for the subsea company of the year (large and small), the most promising young person in the sector, outstanding contribution by an individual to the industry and emerging enterprise.
The awards will also recognise achievements and innovations in technology, safety and exports, with the innovation and technology award, sponsored by Simmons & Co. International, and the global exports award, sponsored by the Department for International Trade.

An independent judging panel of industry leaders will score each entry according to the agreed criteria and the shortlist of finalists will be announced in December 2019.
Accolades will be presented at a gala dinner, organised by Subsea UK on 6th February during Subsea Expo, Europe’s largest subsea conference and exhibition.
Several hundred business leaders are expected to attend the dinner that celebrates the hard work and outstanding achievements generated across the industry over the past twelve months.
Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK, said: “The UK continues to be the world-leader in subsea and every year these awards give us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the world-class talent and expertise which exists in the UK subsea industry.”
