Footage released of a North Sea Search and Rescue Operation
Babcock Offshore have released an incredible video showing a helicopter crew safely rescue a crewman from a North Sea supply vessel last November.
The footage shows a search and rescue team carry out the operation 120 nautical miles east of Aberdeen. The crewman was onboard the Ocean Tay, operated by Atlantic Offshore.
It is clear from the footage the rescue team are battling high winds and rough seas to rescue the casualty successfully.
