Harbour Energy Says Pemex Submitted Zama’s Development Plan in Mexico
Harbour Energy said on Friday that the operator of the Zama field in Mexico Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex, has submitted the unit development plan to Mexico’s National Commission of Hydrocarbons for approval.
The U.K. oil-and-gas company said the development plan contemplates two offshore shallow water platforms, as well as 46 production and water injection wells with the oil and gas to be transported via pipeline to new facilities located in Terminal Maritima Dos Bocas.
As part of this project stage, the partners will receive an updated cost and schedule estimates for the development.
The company added that Pemex and the block partners have agreed on main terms related to hydrocarbon sales and the use of terminal Maritima Dos Bocas facilities.
Harbour Energy holds the Zama unit in consortium with Pemex, Wintershall Dea, and Talos Energy, among other partners.
