Hoover Ferguson - OAA 2019 Finalist Promotion

1. Tell us why you entered your business into the OAAs.

Since Hoover Ferguson was formed in late 2016 (following the merger of Ferguson Group, Hoover Container Solutions and Catalyst & Chemical Containers) our team has worked incredibly hard to grow and develop the company during challenging market conditions in the offshore industry.

We wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on our successes, the efforts of our team and our contribution to the industry and the OAA’s presented the ideal occasion to do this. The OAA’s are a well-respected event with an impressive and rigorous judging panel of industry peers, so to be selected by them for the shortlist of the Great Company (Large) Award is a real honour.

2. What does it mean to your team/business to be a finalist or if you were to win?

We are thrilled to be finalists and receive recognition of our contribution to the offshore industry - it is a testament to the hard work and commitment of all at Hoover Ferguson. There are great companies nominated across each of the categories and we are proud to be part of the event. If we were to win it would a great boost to everyone at Hoover Ferguson and a true reflection of the efforts that have gone into making Hoover Ferguson a great partner for our customers.

3. In your opinion, how do awards like these support your business and the industry in general?

Receiving this recognition of the successful growth and development of Hoover Ferguson is of great benefit to our business and bolsters our position as a leading supplier in offshore accommodation, workspace and container solutions. Offshore oil & gas is a fast-paced industry and these awards are a great opportunity for everyone to take a moment to appreciate the hard work that has gone into the last twelve months, and celebrate the various successes across the award categories.

4. What are you most looking forward to when you attend the OAAs on the night?

We are looking forward to sharing a great evening with our peers in the industry. The OAAs are a celebration of the industry-wide commitment to keep pushing the offshore industry forward through operational excellence, innovation and collaboration and we are excited to hear more from our fellow nominees.
