IM&R leader lands significant renewables contract

A leading provider of industrial inspection, maintenance and repair services has announced the award of a contract which represents a significant step forward in its foothold within the renewables market.

TRAC Renewables has been awarded a five-year framework agreement for Above Water Structural IMR services for ScottishPower Renewables’ (SPR) flagship East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm, off the coast of Suffolk.This broad scope of work builds on a pre-existing, long-standing relationship and will see TRAC Renewables provide a full suite of technical resource and project support services.

The windfarm is located around 40km off the coast of Suffolk with maintenance and operations co-ordinated from the busy Lowestoft hub.

TRAC Renewables delivers turnkey solutions, focused on asset integrity and statutory compliance, underpinned by a range of modular, out-of-the-box, project support services. It is a specialist division of TRAC Energy, an ISO-17020 accredited provider of industrial inspection, maintenance, and repair services. The launch of its flourishing renewables division was the realisation of its desire to foster sustainability through diversity, harnessing synergy across the company to play a leading role in the energy transition.
