Integrity HSE Shares Mental Health Expertise at IADC SAPC Gathering in Doha

Last week Steven Harris, Managing Director of Integrity HSE, addressed a regional meeting of the Southern Arabian Peninsula Chapter (SAPC) of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) in Doha. The SAPC holds regular sessions to promote collaboration among energy sector stakeholders across Qatar, Oman, and the UAE, and Integrity HSE’s inclusion marked a further step in its international footprint.

Mr Harris was invited to speak on a subject of increasing significance across the global workforce: mental health in high-risk environments. Drawing on Integrity HSE’s practical experience supporting a diverse range of clients, his presentation offered insight into proven approaches for building mental health resilience within safety-critical sectors.

Reflecting on the event, Steven commented, “Having the opportunity to share the lessons we’ve learned in supporting mental wellbeing was a privilege. The SAPC’s commitment to learning from best practice before shaping their own regional initiative is something I deeply admire. Integrity HSE stands ready to support that journey in any way we can.”

The reception to the keynote was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the urgency and relevance of mental health as a business-critical issue in the energy sector.
