It’s a rare moment when a company leader experiences their own services from the perspective of a client, but that’s precisely what unfolded for Steven Harris, Managing Director of Integrity HSE, during a recent overseas visit to Doha with Head of Business Development, Jennifer Hall.
While en route to Qatar, their aircraft was preparing for descent when the city came under missile fire. As passengers remained unaware of the unfolding crisis, real-time alerts and contingency briefings were already reaching Steven and Jennifer from Rob Diver, Integrity HSE’s Head of Risk & Resilience. Thanks to this pre-established support system, alternative routing options and safe-haven scenarios were already under consideration, well before official updates reached the wider public.
Reflecting on the incident, Steven said, “Everyone in our organisation receives the same calibre of protection that we offer our clients. Rob Diver brings a wealth of experience to his role. Following a career that spanned the British military, Thames Valley Police, and Police Scotland, Rob established a boutique security consultancy, which became part of Integrity HSE through acquisition in 2024.
