Recently appointed as a Communications & Marketing Intern, Thao Hoova brings a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in media and digital marketing. She holds a BA in Media from Robert Gordon University and an MSc in Digital Marketing, equipping her with a comprehensive skill set in campaign strategy, analytics and content creation across digital platforms.
During her studies, Thao volunteered as a Marketing Coordinator for a student group, where she led campaign planning, managed digital content and promoted events to boost engagement. This experience strengthened her ability to connect with diverse audiences, coordinate projects effectively and deliver measurable results in fast-paced environments.
As JMSL continues to scale, this role will help sharpen how we tell our story across the energy sector and adjacent markets. Thao will support content development, digital channels, tender collateral and employer-brand activity – amplifying our work across manpower, project services and fabrication, while gaining valuable industry experience.

Over the last two years, JMSL has accelerated its growth plan: securing new office and workshop facilities; achieving ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications; establishing a UAE entity to better serve international projects; and strengthening governance through an Advisory Board. The communications and marketing function will play a key role in this next phase: building market visibility, supporting bids and partnerships, and showcasing delivery outcomes that matter to clients – safe execution, reliable mobilisation and cost-effective results.
