Denmark-based Maersk Supply Service has scored a contract with Shell for its subsea support vessel Maersk Achiever.
The 2003-built vessel has been booked for work at the Penguins oil and gas field in the UK North Sea.
The contract with an undisclosed value starts in April, with brokers reporting the fixture of between 40 and 80 days, including options.
End-last year, the Maersk Achiever worked for Shell supporting the Stena Don semisub rig. More recently, the 90.3-m-long multipurpose unit was contracted by Danish cabling firm NKT.
