Wood has secured two five-year framework agreements with Equinor to deliver maintenance and modifications (M&M) services, as well as large-scale modifications projects, across assets on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and associated onshore plants.
Under the agreements, installations will be formally assigned following contract signing, which is planned for week four. Wood is intended to provide M&M services on the Snorre A and B platforms, assets it has supported with maintenance, repair and modifications expertise since 2016.
The contracts also position Wood as a qualified bidder for upcoming large modifications projects on offshore installations and onshore plants. These future scopes will focus on extending asset life, improving production efficiency and reducing climate and environmental footprints.
Equinor has the option to extend the agreements by a further three and two years respectively, potentially taking the total contract duration to ten years.

Delivery of the work will be led by Wood employees based in Norway, supported by the company’s global engineering network.
