MODS wins two-year contract to streamline global offshore asset management

MODS, a leading provider of intelligent industrial asset management software, has secured a two-year contract with one of the world’s largest industry-leading offshore engineering consultancies.

The agreement will see MODS’ new client implement key modules from the MODS Connect software suite to enhance project efficiency, transparency, and digitalization across several of its energy clients’ offshore operations worldwide.

The firm will initially deploy MODS Connect Work Pack before rolling out the additional MODS Connect modules: Materials, Integrity, and Fabrication. The contract’s scalable model allows for phased adoption across multiple global projects, ensuring both flexibility and a more manageable, controlled implementation, delivering long-term value for the engineering services client.

MODS Connect is a cloud-based platform that digitalizes, visualizes, and automates asset lifecycle management, replacing manual processes to streamline workflows, improve safety, optimize costs, and reduce carbon footprint. It also enables real-time collaboration, helping engineering and operations teams make faster, data-driven decisions.

MODS CEO Jon Bell said: “Securing this new client and a two-year contract reinforces MODS’ position as a trusted technology partner in the energy sector. As digital transformation accelerates, MODS Connect is setting the standard for intelligent asset management, allowing clients to boost efficiency, cut costs, and enhance safety across offshore and industrial environments.

“Our flexible solution helps organizations customize their digital strategy, whether for individual projects or entire portfolios. By simplifying approvals, automating reports, and enhancing system integration, teams are able to work more efficiently and collaboratively across all locations. This is the future of asset management, and we’re proud to be driving this transformation.”

Already deployed in the UK, Australia, Middle East, and South America, the software is being rolled out across the consultancy’s global operations, supported by MODS’ Aberdeen team to ensure seamless implementation, training, and technical assistance.
