ModuSpec, a global specialist in rig inspection and intake services, has secured three new contracts across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), collectively valued at over $100,000.
Each project focuses on enhancing the client’s health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) during future operations, with all scopes scheduled to commence before the end of the year.
The first contract, awarded by an Egyptian operator, involves delivering comprehensive assurance of HSEQ and crew competency management systems across several land-based pulling units. ModuSpec’s team will assess operational practices, verify compliance with international standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
ModuSpec will also provide advisory support to a Cairo-based drilling contractor. The focus will be on identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to strengthen its crew competency management system.
Under the third contract, based in the United Arab Emirates, ModuSpec will support a locally-based operator in enhancing its emergency response management system. The advisory scope includes reviewing current processes and procedures and offering guidance to prepare for future land-based drilling operations.
Together, these wins reinforce ModuSpec’s growing reputation in the region for delivering high-impact HSEQ solutions that support safer, more efficient drilling operations.
Mark Watson, ModuSpec’s Regional Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa, said: “We’re proud to continue expanding our footprint in the MENA region by providing tailored HSEQ advisory services in Egypt and the UAE. This week, I am visiting clients in Egypt, Dubai and Qatar as well as meeting with industry contacts at the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi. It’s an exciting time for ModuSpec as we strengthen relationships and support our clients’ commitment to operational excellence.”
Alex Munro, HSEQ Director with ModuSpec, added: “These new contracts reflect the trust our clients place in ModuSpec to elevate their HSEQ performance. We see an increasing demand for structured, data-driven HSEQ advisory support across the MENA region and we are committed to delivering measurable improvements that align with global best practices.”
