Mooring and safety equipment specialist appoints Mark Cowieson as new CEO to develop and execute its corporate strategy

LHR Marine, based in Aberdeen has announced the appointment of oil industry veteran Mark Cowieson as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Cowieson will head up Corporate Strategy, Business Control and Management Review, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge to ensure that the organisation's structure and processes meet the strategic and cultural needs of the organisation.

Mark has over 15 years of senior management experience in the oil & gas, renewable and construction industries, undertaking operations, QHSE and Rig/ Operations Management roles.  He joins LHR Marine from Nucore Group where he spearheaded strategic growth as Services Director.
