NRG Well Management grows commercial team

Aberdeen-based well management company NRG Well Management has announced the appointment of John Verling as director of business development and new ventures.

A well-known figure in the industry, John has over 35 years’ experience in the global oil and gas arena, in various operational, business and commercial development capacities with leading industry giants such as Schlumberger, Halliburton and ADTI/Transocean, and latterly, vice president of business development and sales at LR Senergy.

With a wealth of expertise both in the UK and internationally, especially in West Africa, Middle East Kuwait/Iraq, South East Asia and USA, John is ideally placed to help NRG expand its business.

Based in Aberdeen, John will be responsible for NRG’s global business development strategies, focusing on growing NRG Well Management’s presence in the oil and gas market.

John’s appointment signals NRG’s response to changing conditions, with the company looking to make a step change in approach to the upstream business, with John’s role directly related to this objective.
