OAA 2019 Finalist Promotion – Iron Ocean

1. Tell us why you entered your business into the OAAs.

The SPE Offshore Achievement Awards are the most prestigious awards in the oil and gas industry, its effectively the offshore Oscar’s. Our technology can save countless lives offshore and submitting an application showcasing it was a great way to raise awareness within the industry.

2. What does it mean to your team/business to be a finalist or if you were to win?

We were nothing less than blown away when we received notification that we had reached the final; the interest and support we’ve received from the offshore industry since the announcement has been truly fantastic. As finalists we can already demonstrate how serious we are about preserving lives at sea. As winners we can send that message even further.

3. In your opinion, how do awards like these support your business and the industry in general?

Awards of this nature offer companies, teams and individuals the opportunity to shine through gaining industry recognition and awareness at a truly prestigious level. The media from such events echoes across a wide and diverse audience generating opportunities that otherwise may go unexplored.

4. What are you most looking forward to when you attend the OAAs on the night?

We are looking forward to attending the event as a team and making some great connections. It will be fantastic to see the other finalists and to celebrate their success in each category.
