OE 2019 marks second anniversary for OGV Energy

This year marks the second anniversary of OGV Energy Magazine which launched at Offshore Europe 2017. In the last two years, the magazine has grown to become the UK’s leading industry publication, establishing a position both locally and globally.

OGV celebrates issue 24, two years on from the first issue launched at OE, Europe’s largest offshore conference. Due to business growth over the last 24 months, the company has employed a team of media and marketing professionals who have transformed the magazine from its inaugural issue.

Two years ago, Managing Director Kenny Dooley identified a gap in the market for fresh, new energy content, with the vision to create the sector’s must-read news magazine. Since its launch, OGV Energy has experienced substantial growth, becoming the go to media company for energy professionals. Today, the OGV Energy website incorporates the company’s various platforms including OGV Magazine, OGV TV, OGV Jobs, OGV Supply Chain Directory and OGV Events.

The magazine is the company’s flagship offering and was launched as Oil & Gas Vision, before the company’s rebrand to OGV Energy in 2018. Over the past 24 months, a number of popular features have been introduced including “Women in the Industry,” “A day in the life” and the “Innovation and technology zone.”

The team have established strong relationships with Oil and Gas companies and PR agencies, resulting in a series of high-profile interviews and press exclusives.

Following the success of its first publication, OGV Energy launched “OGV Jobs” newspaper in January 2019 to target the growing energy recruitment market.

OGV Energy will host the OGV Pavilion for the first time at this year’s Offshore Europe, supported by 25 companies. Rever Offshore have come on board as the pavilion’s main sponsor, whilst Attollo Offshore will support OGV’s networking event on Wednesday 6 September – “Offshore Europe’s largest networking bar crawl.”
