OGV Energy is an ever growing and expanding media company looking for new ways to stand out. The most recent evidence of this is, the OGV community which is available and already with a number of different companies already signed up.

The community is a place where companies from all over the energy sector have the opportunity to maximise their exposure and network from within the supply chain. The list of organisations signing up to the community is growing quickly - some companies that have signed include Petrofac, STATS Group, Plant Integrity Management Limited, DF Communications and many more.

Each company gets their own profile in the ‘community’ section of the OGV website, this can be easily edited at any time. This is where all the company information is - including sector, products exports, company profile, and points of contact. As well as this there is easy links to any social medias that a company may have such as LinkedIn or Facebook, by having this on the community page it looks to increase traffic to these sites.

There is also a news section on each of the company's profiles – this means that any press releases/news about your organisation will be posted onto the profile for anyone viewing the profile to see.

A new part of the community is the monthly online events where companies who are a part of the community are invited to join the forum discussing the magazine topic for the month. At these events there will be a number of different panellists' present. The first of these events took place on the 17th of September where ‘International Growth and Diversification’ was the topic. Join the community this month in time for our second event on the 22nd October, focusing on decommissioning.

The community comes with lots of benefits for any companies that sign up. It allows organisations in the sector to expand their network by coming across different companies through the online events or the community page. As well as this it is easy for companies to contact each other with the information on the community page.

In the current situation with COVID-19 it is becoming increasingly difficult to maximise your exposure and develop your network as there are no events currently taking place or any real opportunities to meet other companies. With the community, it gives organisations an opportunity to put themselves out there with a host of other companies within their sector.
