Oilenco Ltd Appoints David Fisher as Business Development Director

Oilenco Ltd are delighted to announce the appointment of David Fisher to the position of Business Development Director. David, known as Dave to many, will be responsible for leading the Business Development function, establishing Oilenco as the provider of choice for well intervention and abandonment downhole tool solutions.

As a core target market for the company, Dave and his team will continue to build close relationships with oil and gas operators and service companies in the North Sea, increasing service capabilities in this marketplace. In addition, Dave will focus on company expansion in key overseas regions including Scandinavia, Middle East, and Australia, helping to implement and grow new business opportunities. Dave will also have a dedicated focus on Oilenco Safety Valve growth plans following fresh development and expansion of this product portfolio.

Dave kick started his oil and gas career in the North Sea in 2005 as an offshore service engineer before moving to Saudi Arabia to work for an US oil and gas major. Relocating back to Aberdeen, he joined the completion tools department transitioning from offshore operations to onshore service. Having gained a wealth of experience in the field, Dave moved to an account manager position in 2011, working in sales focused roles before joining Oilenco in 2017 as Business Development Manager. Dave said, “my background in well intervention and completions, and subsequently sales, has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the industry, and with my knowledge and experience, I am able to work closely with clients to develop solutions to solve the unique challenges they face.”
