Proserv Controls- Interview with Davis Larssen, Chief Executive Officer

Interview with Proserv Controls, Davis Larssen

Davis Larssen, Chief Executive Officer for Proserv Controls

My name is Davis Larssen, I am the Chief Executive Officer for Proserv Controls.

As part of my new role, I’ve been tasked to lead the strategy in the future direction of Proserv Controls, focusing our global offering to satisfy our customers.

On October 1st Proserv announced a corporate restructuring, why has this occurred and how does this impact the company?

We’ve spent the last 12 months reviewing our company’s strategy and in a result of that from two core divisions, Proserv Controls and Gilmore Valves, allowing us to refocus on our core competencies and to structure the position of the company for growth as we go forward.

Where do you see growth and potential within Proserv Controls global offerings?

We have a very strong offering focused around our core controls technology, whether that be subsea, topside or renewables. We have a number of technologies and applications that support that such sampling, measurement and IWOCS as well. Each of those have different elements of growth in various markets.

Proserv is a controls technology company, how does this new setup support the development of technologies and solutions?

As part of this transition we’ve put in place a new position of chief technology officer held by Tore Erntsen and he is very much focused on our whole technology footprint, taking input from our customers and developing a 5-year technology roadmap to ensure that we are leading this space in the controls technology arena.

What geographic markets are the key ones for your Proserv Controls division?

Whilst Proserv Controls headquarters is in Aberdeen, we are very much still a global company. The North Sea the Gulf of Mexico, the Middle East and the West Coast of Africa are huge important markets to us, where we are serving existing and prospective new customers
