Aberdeen marketing agency Prospect 13 is launching a Christmas charity campaign to bring a touch of holiday cheer to children at a city-based primary school this festive season.
The team of elves at P13 are set to spread some Christmas joy at Hanover Street Primary in the form of cosy pyjamas to help all pupils enjoy the spirit of the winter holiday season.
For the month of December, P13 will be aptly renamed PJ13, as it launches its fundraising drive to raise £3,000 to gift 280 pairs of cosy pyjamas to each pupil.
‘Santa’s sleigh’ will arrive at the PJ13 headquarters in the Bridge of Don on December 18th where it will be stocked up with the festive sleepwear sets before the team hand deliver the items to the school.
PJ13 has set up a dedicated JustGiving page and any donations from organisations or individuals who would like to contribute to the pyjama appeal would be gratefully received.
Cerri McDonald, CEO & Founder of Prospect 13, said, “We strive to play our part in supporting our local community, particularly over the Christmas period, when it’s more important than ever to help others.
“At Prospect13, we’re all about trusted relationships and meaningful connections and with the help of our community of clients, partners and friends, we are aiming to bring joy and a sense of belonging to local children to help make this festive season a little warmer and brighter.”
Prospect 13’s connection with Hanover Street Primary has grown thanks to its alignment with Aberdeen charity, Lifestars. Founded by Neve McPherson to empower children with additional needs through inclusive active learning and activities in and out of school to develop key life and social skills, Lifestars works closely with Hanover Street Primary as part of their mission. Prospect 13 has also developed close links with the school by facilitating and delivering hands-on Friday skills sessions and taking part in careers fairs.
“As a team of creative, lively individuals with a shared mission: to improve the future outlooks of those around us, our commitment extends beyond our clients to the broader community, focusing on youth support, charity work, and local initiatives,” added Cerri.
