Recently-launched IKM Production Technology UK Ltd awarded operator contract

IKM Production Technology UK LTD, a newly-formed division of the IKM Group, has been awarded a 12-month contract to support CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited with the provision of slops treatment services.

Headquartered in Norway, IKM Production Technology provides drilling waste management, chemical analysis, well testing and well intervention services on a global basis.

The Aberdeen-based entity will reflect its parent company’s recent focus upon drilling waste management, in particular the on-site treatment of waste on offshore installations and FPSOs.

In addition to the recent contract win, IKM Production Technology UK continues to fulfil a five-year contract for Total, for the provision of offshore slop processing environmental units in the central North Sea, which was awarded by Maersk Oil, prior to its acquisition in 2018.
