Siemens Energy wins Company of the Year at the 2025 EIC WESCAs

Seventeen WESCAs winners recognised at the National Awards Dinner across Collaboration, Digital & AI, Energy Transition and more; 72 judges reviewed 140 submissions from 17 countries.

London, 10 October 2025:

The Energy Industries Council (EIC) held its annual National Awards Dinner last night in London at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, hosted by comedian and actor Matt Lucas.

Leaders from across the energy supply chain gathered to recognise delivery, impact, and measurable results.

First held in 1955, the National Dinner is the UK-hosted edition of the EIC’s World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCAs). The awards were introduced in 2005 and now run globally, with regional events in London, Rio de Janeiro, Houston, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur.

The EIC is the UK’s largest energy trade association and one of the world’s leading organisations representing the energy supply chain, across all sectors, from oil and gas to renewables, nuclear, and beyond.

This year’s judging panel comprised 72 judges. The EIC received 140 submissions from 17 countries, and judging was based on evidence-focused case studies published in the EIC’s Survive & Thrive annual report, which tracks proven growth strategies across the energy supply chain.

Company of the Year went to Siemens Energy. Rising Star went to Mille Zagulak of Xodus.

Stuart Broadley, CEO of the EIC, said:

“Our members drive the energy supply chain forward through action and set the pace for our industry. They win work, cut risk, open markets, and move the transition forward. The WESCAs reflect that progress, with the judges’ decisions rooted in the evidence of the hard work they continue to do year after year. I appreciate every entrant, judge, and partner who made this programme not only possible but a recurring success.”

A Siemens Energy spokesperson said:

“Thank you to the EIC for convening our industry with elegance. As a long-time member, we continue to draw value from the EIC’s global project and supply chain data, events, and insights. Being recognised by peers matters to our teams, and this award reflects work delivered with customers across service, new build, and digital. Our goal is reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.”
