To improve efficiencies, reduce costs and exposure in the Plug and Abandonment (P&A) market, the Slot Jet Isolate (SJI™) tool has been developed to overcome the existing challenges with the incumbent methods.
Traditional P&A methods typically use a combination of either explosive, mechanical cutters, chemical methods, or abrasive cutters. The existing methods all require multiple trips, increasing rig time costs and expose personnel to health and safety risks during every trip.
