A Teesside firm has secured a three-year deal with a Brazilian oil and gas operator.
T12 Engineering agreed to the framework contract after delivering three key pieces of equipment for the South American firm.
The equipment is designed to support the late-life extension of subsea assets.
The firm, which also has offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, has undertaken previous projects with the operator, but their identity remains confidential due to a non-disclosure agreement.
T12 Engineering’s deal will establish them as the preferred supplier, raising their profile in Brazil, one of the world’s top oil producers.

The senior management team recently visited the South American country as part of an oil and gas delegation, organised by the Department for Business and Trade and Santander UK, to meet Brazilian companies open to doing business with the UK supply chain.
Fellow director Andy Hughes added: “Our involvement in the trade delegation provided valuable insight into the market, as we look to grow our presence in South America.
“We see Brazil as a gateway to further opportunities, and we’re actively exploring additional projects to support the country’s dynamic energy sector.

T12 Engineering is involved in various sectors and has experience in delivering designs that extend the lifecycle of subsea assets and energy infrastructure.
Completed projects in its portfolio include bridge construction, energy from waste, and asset integrity management.
