Texo engineering appoint new vessel operations manager

Texo Engineering, part of the Texo Group, has today announced the appointment of Andrew Robson as its new Vessel Operations Manager.

Andrew has in excess of 20 years marine engineering experience. He has held a number of positions with leading vessel operators including Technical Superintendent roles. He has extensive expertise in high value vessel modifications and upgrades.

Andrew joins from Gulf Marine Services W.L.L where he was Operations Technical Manager; responsible for managing technical, safety, crewing competence, reliability, compliance and cost for a designated fleet.

Garry Kennie, Engineering Director, Texo Group said: “Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience in vessel operations and maintenance. He has managed a number of technically challenging projects over the last 10 years and his expertise will be a great asset for us as we grow the business.”

On assuming his new role, Andrew will be responsible for, marine vessel mobilisations, modifications and upgrades. This will include technical and project execution.
