The new integrated asset services specialist, Texo Group, has announced two senior management appointments. Robert Dalziel joins as Group Managing Director and Garry Kennie has been appointed Engineering Director, Texo Engineering. These strategic personnel appointments follow two high profile announcements last week: the launch of the engineering and technology group and the acquisition of Navitas Compliance Solutions; forming Texo Compliance. Robert Dalziel returns to the Oil & Gas sector after the sale of Rigmar Group where he was CEO. Robert has a strong technical background and over twenty-four years’ experience in the field of engineering, predominantly in the oil and gas sector. With a passion for business development in particular, either through organic growth, strategic acquisition or a combination of both, he falls into the traditional ‘Creator-Innovator’ role which is backed up by an analytical approach. His previous role as Chief Executive Officer of an engineering and construction services business with multiple UK offices and overseas satellite offices saw him lead the company from start-up to Venture Capital sale in seven years. Garry Kennie joins from an established engineering group, where he was the Engineering Director. Garry has over 20 years engineering experience, working for a number of Operators and Drilling Companies servicing the global oil and gas sector. A structural engineer by profession, Garry spent nine years with design and engineering specialist Houlder Limited, where laterally he was President of Houlder Americas, working out of Aberdeen and Houston. Robert Dalziel, Managing Director, Texo Group said: “I am delighted to be part of the founding team of Texo Group. Our vision is to create a truly global iEPC business; something which the market has been crying out for a long time.” Robert added: “Our aggressive buy-and-build growth strategy will set Texo Group head and shoulders apart in the marketplace. We have already been highly received in the market by a number of key decision makers and I am looking forward to driving forward this exciting business.” Garry Kennie, Engineering Director, Texo Engineering said: “When we set about creating the strategic plan for the Group I had no hesitation in joining. Our unique combination of cutting edge technology, data capture and engineering expertise provides a game changing approach to integrated asset services. Moreover, the team we have assembled is remarkable; with an established track record in delivering engineering lead solutions on complex projects.” Texo Group has been formed to meet the demand for integrated engineering and construction services within critical infrastructure. Representing an unprecedented offering in turnkey services to both UK and global markets, encompassing initial design, through to lifecycle management of critical assets. Providing integrated asset services, Texo Group will become a leading Inspection, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (iEPC) specialist for multiple sectors, including: Oil & Gas, Clean Energy & Renewables, Marine, Nuclear, Telecommunications, Utilities and critical civil/Infrastructure. With its origins in intelligent asset management and advanced inspection technologies and building on the success of this business, Texo Group is currently undergoing an extensive expansion plan to ensure commitment to its integrated iEPC ethos.
