Risk Based Inspection (RBI) of Pressurised Systems
Driving efficiencies and greater ROI for clients through multi-disciplined In-Service Solution
The Scope
Texo Integrity+ were commissioned to perform a Risk Based Inspection Survey of Pressurised Systems, on-board a fully operational semi-submersible drilling facility deployed in the North Sea. This encompassed Ultrasonic Testing and Visual Inspections on high-pressure pipework and producing a comprehensive reporting package, including Isometric Visio Drawings.
Texo Integrity+ with its in-field multi-disciplined inspection, access and construction teams, were easily able to accommodate this and all additional client requests, whilst on board the asset.

The Solution
Texo Integrity+ mobilised a multi-disciplined and multi-skilled Rope Access Team to not only carry out the Risk Based Inspection Survey, but to remedy any anomalies that were found. In addition to this, the team were able to react to new scopes of work as they arose including:
– MPI Drilling Bails, Link Adaptors and Tension Arms
– CVI of Aux Derrick Brush Brackets
– Survey of Exhaust Damage
– MPI of Crane Hooks
– ET of Samson Posts
– UTM Survey of Alimak Frame Structure
– Removal of redundant Crane rest
– Assisted Electrician with cable installation
– Installed Crane Sheave guard
This provided the end-client with an integrated inspection, access and repair solution – delivered In-Service, whilst the assist was operational. All of which represented a significant ROI for the client versus a more traditional methodology.

Post project feedback from the client was outstanding, with excellent scores across the spectrum for the project delivery metrics.
