Chief Technology Officer at Flotation Energy - Alan MacAskill, talks to us about being one of the first pioneers in offshore wind with Talisman Energy, when in partnership with SSE, they decided to sanction the construction of the two turbines in the Beatrice field in 2001 and now with Flotation Energy they are continuing that work with the backing of TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company) to provide fixed and floating wind to the global market.
