Global training pioneer 3t Training Services has consolidated its position as the UK’s largest and leading training provider after securing multiple finalist spots at the GWO Safety and Training Awards.
Nominated in three separate categories at the prestigious awards ceremony, 3t Training Services is one of only three companies nominated for ‘Training Team of the Year Northern Europe’. Simultaneously, highlighting 3t’s commitment to excellence not just on a company level but a personal one too, two of its team members are up for individual awards in the ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ and ‘Instructor of the Year’ categories respectively.
Funded Account Manager at 3t, Paige Convery, 26, is one of three people worldwide in the running for Young Achiever of the Year. Similarly, 3t’s Blade Repair Instructor, Scott Bradley, is one of five instructors worldwide to be nominated for the highly prized Instructor of the Year title – securing his place as a finalist after being voted for by delegates who have completed their training with 3t under Scott’s guidance.
As one of the most recognised and respected training bodies for the global wind industry, the Global Wind Organisation’s (GWO) annual awards recognise the best of the best amongst the international wind training providers. The final winners of the GWO Safety and Training Awards will be named at an Awards Ceremony on 9th October, held at the GWO Forum in Florida, USA.
Celebrating the news of 3t's award nominations, Annabel Leckenby, Marketing Director at 3t, commented: “The GWO Safety and Training Awards are such a high-profile and momentous occasion in the training calendar; to be shortlisted in not just one but three categories is truly incredible news and a testament to the quality and dedication of the 3t team at every level.
“Our people put everything into delivering an exceptional training experience for learners so it's great to be recognised on a global stage by an association as respected in the industry as GWO. We are extremely proud of everyone involved and as a company, we will keep everything crossed for a great result come October."
3t Training Services has been delivering GWO training since 2015 and has several Renewables Training Centres of Excellence in Newcastle, Aberdeen, Teesside and London. With one in every five of the world’s wind trainees passing through its doors, 3t is the largest supplier of wind training in the UK.
