Accra, Ghana & Aberdeen, Scotland – 14th April 2025 – The UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with OGV Group, organisers of the West Africa Energy Summit (WAES), which will take place in Aberdeen, Scotland from 18–19 November 2025 at the five-star Marcliffe Hotel.
As part of this collaboration, UKGCC will lead a high-level business delegation from Ghana to participate in the Summit, which aims to drive meaningful engagement between West African energy stakeholders and the global supply chain, particularly across Europe.
Following a successful debut in Accra in 2024, the Summit’s relocation to Aberdeen—Europe’s energy capital—marks a significant opportunity to connect Ghanaian and West African energy leaders with global investors, operators, and service providers.

The Ghana delegation will include representatives from both public and private sector institutions across oil, gas, renewables, logistics, and infrastructure sectors. Delegates will benefit from bespoke B2B matchmaking, investor roundtables, site tours, technical briefings, and policy dialogues—all curated to promote cross-border business development.
