Zenith Energy, the independent well engineering consultancy and project management company with offices in Aberdeen, Australia, Senegal and Abu Dhabi, announces a record year since its formation marked by significant growth in turnover, strategic acquisitions, and an expanding global footprint.
Zenith Energy achieved exceptional financial performance in 2023 with a turnover in excess of £32million*, an increase in turnover of 34% year on year. This was as a result of a notable increase in turnover across the UK, as well as in the Senegal and Australia offices. This growth underscores the company’s robust business strategy and successful execution across diverse markets.
In Australia, Zenith Energy has completed a record number of projects, reinforcing its position as a key player in the energy sector. The company has seen remarkable success with several high-profile projects, further cementing its reputation for excellence and reliability.
The organisation’s global headcount has also surpassed 200 employees, driven by organic growth and the strategic acquisition of Prodrill Energy Resource Solutions, an Aberdeen-based recruitment specialist, in 2023. This acquisition has not only increased its workforce but also enhanced its capabilities and service offerings, allowing the team to better serve its clients. Prodrill brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in recruitment for the energy sector, bolstering its ability to meet the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the industry.
In response to its growing team and expanding operations, Zenith Energy is planning to expand its UK headquarters in Aberdeen. This expansion reflects its commitment to providing a dynamic and supportive work environment for its employees and ensures it can continue delivering outstanding service to its clients.
Martin Booth, Managing Director of Zenith Energy says, "We are incredibly proud of our achievements over the past year. Our record turnover, the successful acquisition of Prodrill, and our expanding global presence are all indicators of the hard work and dedication of our team.”
Martin continues, “Zenith Energy has successfully delivered over 20 well projects for 16 clients, including four new clients in Europe and North Africa. Our ability to secure new locations and clients is a testament to the high quality of our services and our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the energy sector. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to drive innovation and excellence in the energy sector."
