Angel Luviano joins READ Cased Hole

READ is delighted to announce the appointment of Angel Luviano to its senior management team as Vice President Sales & Business Development (Western Hemisphere).

Based in Houston, Angel will be responsible for identifying and leading strategic business development opportunities in North and South America, across READ’s portfolio of production logging, well integrity and reservoir evaluation technologies and services.

Angel brings a wealth of sales and business development experience to READ. He started his career in the wireline business with Schlumberger, followed by 12 years with Welltec in a sales management role for South America. More recently, he was Business Development Manager for the US and Latin America at Blue Spark Energy.

Angel said, “READ is an extremely energetic, customer-focused organisation and I am excited to join the team. With my 20 years of experience supporting operators in the Americas, I will be focussing on creating strong customer relationships for READ and ensuring that we deliver results and add value for clients.”

He is joining us at a very exciting time, following our recent acquisition of a US-based cased hole logging specialist company with established operations in Alaska and the Lower 48. Angel’s in-depth knowledge of the Americas oil and gas market will be instrumental in helping us grow the READ business further throughout the region.”

Angel has a BSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
