Exceptional performance fuels growth at digital-first agency AB Fiftyone

Aberdeenshire-based digital marketing agency, AB Fiftyone, is celebrating a significant period of growth, marked by strong revenue performance, exciting new client partnerships, and a strategic addition to its team.

With year-on-year revenue up by 63%, the agency continues to gain momentum, recently adding high-profile clients including PBS, Legasea, and Peterson Energy Logistics to its growing portfolio. This success has paved the way for the appointment of Doug Cowie in the newly created role of Growth Manager, as the agency builds on its ambitious plans for the future.

Founded in 2016 by Pamela Miller, AB Fiftyone was born out of necessity and vision. After being made redundant while eight and a half months pregnant, Pamela seized the opportunity to launch AB Fiftyone and introduce digital-first marketing that offered a flexible and client-focused approach.

Since then, AB Fiftyone has grown steadily, attracting clients across the energy, technology, and innovation sectors. In early 2024, the business repositioned to an agency model, offering a full spectrum of marketing services with a digital-first mindset. This strategic shift has significantly increased demand.

Looking ahead to a milestone tenth anniversary in 2026, Pamela reflects on the journey so far:

“We’ve built a strong, loyal client base, and the growth we’ve seen over the past two years shows that our model really works. There’s a clear appetite for our agile, personal approach to marketing. Bringing Doug on board will allow us to continue building on that success and take AB Fiftyone to the next level.”

Doug brings a strong track-record in marketing, account management and business development, and is already making an impact. Doug comments that:
