Infinity wins coveted Best Small Company of the Year award from Subsea UK

Independent engineering firm Infinity have won the Best Small Company prize at the prestigious 2019 Subsea UK Awards. The award recognises Infinity for its overall performance and impact as well as future plans for growth in the subsea sector.

Based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, Infinity provide field development, flow assurance and subsea engineering to the oil and gas and renewable energy industry.

Infinity experienced substantial growth year on year leading to a record 2018. Successes included taking larger office premises to meet growth in Aberdeen, increasing headcount to 15 and acquisition of three new frame agreements with North Sea Operators. The company has put its success down to the combination of a fresh approach to project delivery and its independent status.

Infinity also announced a positive start to 2019 with the award of their first project following a recent frame agreement from a new North Sea based Operator. The project will see Infinity’s engineering team support a subsea tie-back development to an existing asset.
